Katie Maurer is currently earning her undergraduate degree at the Rochester Institute of Technology. She is studying Glass under Robin Cass and Michael Rogers.

Her main focus in the medium is exploring its translucency. She creates interior atmospheres by using glass not for its functional properties, but rather its qualities of containment.
