Q5. Are you going to sell my contact information?

A. NO, We are actively recruiting Art Glass Advertising Sponsors they receive ad exposure only on our website which is linked directly to their website. 

We have gone to great lengths to make it difficult for anyone to come to the website and simply copy out listings.  This is clearly stated in Q5.

In addition, we have also painstakingly programmed to block Spam harvesting of email accounts from our directory so they could not be sold off to some mass emailing service.  NOTE: Your email address should only be entered in your private login in the appropriate field.  If someone writes their email address in the body of their listing we can not protect it from Spam.

Q6. Am I allowed to download listings to use as mailing lists or lead lists?

A. NO, the data contained within the GlassArt.biz directory is copyrighted. See our Policies.

Q7. How do I prepare my images for a Listing Photo Gallery?

A. Don't worry, when you login to your Standard or Deluxe Listing our online Help section explains step-by-step.  The basic requirements are: 400 pixels wide, 72dpi and under 50kb in physical file weight.  We also offer a service for only $3/picture if you just don't have the time or skills to prepare your photos. We can also do photo corrections for $7/picture to make your artwork look it's very best!

Q8. How often is the database updated?

A. All database updates are real time, which means that each time someone post a listing or updates a listing, the new or updated information is immediately available.

Q9. How do I get my web site linked to my GlassArt.biz business listing?

A. There are two ways to be linked.

1. Login to your Free Listing account and choose the upgrade listing option.  All Standard and Deluxe Listings: Under your Contact Details add your URL and then under Listing Details, check the box to make it active.

2.  Select the Link To Us menu at the top of every page and you can use this method to link your website to our services.  NOTE:  In the world of search engines.  It is much better to "Cross Link" which means you link to GlassArt.biz and then you Standard Listing on GlassArt.biz links back to your website.  This definitely gains you points in search engine rankings as your business gains more credibility being cross linked with other "like" businesses.

Q10. How can up update my Listing's "Contact Details",  "Listing Details" or change the category of my listing.

Login to your Free Listing account and choose the navigational titles:

+ Contact Details

+ Listing Details, This is a description of your Art Glass specialty or services you may offer AND check the boxes for the "Categories" and "Secondary Categories" that best represent your art and business.

 Q11.  I have entered my Contact Details however it won't come up even using my name for searching engine (google). Do I have to upgrade as Standard or Deluxe Listing?

First, Google, LOVES GlassArt.biz, they have sent so many of their spiders to visit and read thru all of our listings that initially they locked up our website until we could accommodate such a hearty appetite.  

The search engines read the Company title under your "Contact Details" and the "Listing Details. This is EXACTLY WHY you should keep BOTH up-to-date!!

Q12.  Is it possible to have a basic listing under two categories? I belong under Artists Studios and under manufacturer?

Yes, as long as you use an "Active" and different contact email address for each listing. NOTE: Make sure to select the proper Main Category and Sub Category for each type of business.

Q13.  How does your service benefit me as a glass artist wanting to find galleries and gift stores to sell/exhibit my glass.  I suppose my question is how do galleries and gift stores find the site?

Great Question!  We do extensive Search Engine Placement for GlassArt.biz to drive the general public looking for Art Glass and the entire Art Glass community to GlassArt.biz.  As our traffic increases and our placement moves up the rankings improve in all the search engines, everyone listed in our directory improves along with us in the volume of traffic to their listing and/or website link in their Standard Listing.

NOTE:  We are already placing in the first to first 5 positions for most keywords at this time and we work on this regularly.

Q14. I no longer want a listing, how is it possible to unsubscribe?

All you have to do is login and then select the navigation button on the left that is titled: "Delete Listing" and follow the instructions.  You can come back at any time an create a new listing to promote your art glass.
