GlassArt.biz™ is a unit of A Sanborn
Corporation and was started by myself, Ann Sanborn. I am an active member of several Art Glass Membership Organizations, listed below.

We created GlassArt.biz because there is no one location on the Internet that provides an accurate and organized directory to promote the Art Glass industry to the General Public (those who really want beautiful Art Glass).  The majority of other online directories appear to be in it strictly to be nothing more than a way to help drive traffic from the search engines to their website and/or a way to collect names for reselling (NO we do not resell our listings see FAQs and Policies).  I am trying to take the high road and help promote the longevity of the Art Glass industry and firmly believe that there are enough Sponsors out there that will support this corporate philosophy. The products offered thru the A Sanborn Corporation's websites (including SanbornWebDesigns.com) are developed to help promote the growth and longevity of the Art Glass trade and industry and also be point and click easy to use or manage.  I also promote this philosophy in Articles I write for Glass Art Magazine, Art Glass Info, and others in non technical terms, on "How To Do", "Tech Tips", and "Practical Internet Technology Solutions™", in the classes I teach for Glass Artists and thru the product demos at Art Glass Trade Shows.

It has always been my belief technology should be made easy to use, fun and provide benefits. It should not be frustrating or restrict people's goals or creative abilities.  With over 20 years in the technology business and intentionally working with new or startup Internet companies since 1997, I have been able to build a wealth of Internet expertise to share with everyone.

I have also been in the Art Glass design business for the past 5 years (See Latest Commission) While meeting a lot of nice people, I discovered my computer skills were of value to the Art Glass community. Thus began a following of Glass Artists clients and a full service website and hosting company, Sanborn Web Designs. I have since made it my calling to help promote the glass art industry and the love of glass in general thru out the Internet.
